In over 20 years of working successfully in both the private and public sectors, Mr. Pettress has earned a reputation of getting things done. Consistent, high quality standards characterize every position, appointment and assignment. For example, after creating the Metro Substance Abatement Program, Mr. Pettress sought and earned an accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). This was the first time a privately-managed substance abuse program was accredited by JCAHO, the highest standard in the health care industry. This was merely the first of many awards and recognitions.

Mr. Pettress' experience reaches far into governmental affairs and labor relations. His ability to present a position persuasively is a matter of fact, not pretense. Direct insight into many different kinds of operations brings a diverse range of expertise and experience to bear on every business situation.

As an independent organizational consultant, Mr Pettress has been involved with everything from helping new restaurants with funding, to leading political action campaigns. On a more subdued level, he has advised public housing commissions on adhering to proper operating standards and has worked with major Pontiac hospital in its response to request to purchase a municipal hospital (also spearheading its efforts at community organizations).
